Tecro & Krea Architects

TecnoSpace has worked closely with Inge D’Hooghe (Tecro and Krea) for the design of their new offices located in Mechelen-Noord, right next to BULO. The cooperation between Bulo, TecnoSpace and Tecro & Krea created a modern, warm office atmosphere with a black carpet in the open-space and offices for the acoustics and a stained parquet in the corridor.

Central to this project is a corridor with glass profiled TecnosSlim walls on the office side in which a barcode pattern was created with mocha and black TecnoGreen panels. On the other side of the corridor is a large photo print wallpaper of our house photographer with a view of Mechelen from the surrounding meadows surrounding the entire central core of the building. In the open space we find custom-made acoustic islands above the desks that hang beneath the black concrete beams and improve the acoustics but also respond to the feeling of security.

The unique concept, in which a great deal of detail has been taken into account – for example the tailor-made air vents, finishing the day edges with black lacquered profiles or the crazy photo prints of cows and donkeys in the toilet – makes this office a total experience.
